What is your Health Guarantee?
Initial Exam
Upon receiving a puppy, purchaser has 72-hours to complete a comprehensive initial exam with the vet of their choice. This policy allows for your vet to find any health problems right away and address them immediately. This is also a good way for you to go ahead and establish a relationship with your puppies vet.
If in any opinion of your Vet, there is a said problem with the puppy at the initial vet check, that is or could be life threatening, the buyer will obtain a Certified Veterinarian's letter explaining the diagnosis, as well as the prognosis. After our vet has reviewed your vet’s diagnosis and confirmed prognosis, we will proceed with giving you another puppy of equal value. If we have no puppies available at the time, we will give you another puppy as soon as one becomes available. The puppy you purchased must be returned to us immediately, or an Autopsy report stating the cause of death to be the fault of the Breeder. The Breeder is not responsible for any charges related to diagnosis or confirmation of issue.
If a non-life-threatening issue is found during the initial (within 72 hours) vet exam you may bring the puppy to our vet to confirm and address the issue or it is the responsibility of the buyer to correct at their expense. While we understand that you may choose to use your own vet, we will not cover bills to rectify the situation at any vet except ours. We prefer all puppies to be treated with our own vet who has prior knowledge of their health, and we trust to correctly treat any issues. Please contact us immediately if any issue is found and we will do our best to rectify the problem promptly!
We also offer a genetic health guarantee. If your pup is found to have a life-threatening genetic disorder within 1 year of purchase, we will replace it with another puppy of different lineage. The Purchaser must be able to show documented health records of the pups vaccinations, worming, and health care during the past year to qualify for this guarantee. Purchaser must provide written acknowledgement from their vet regarding the condition, and it must be verified by my vet. The genetic health guarantee does not cover any communicable diseases, internal and/or external parasites, or injuries.
We promise that to the best of our knowledge, no puppy will leave our home with any viral, bacterial, or communicable diseases (ex. Common cold, parasites) To ensure this we follow a strict regimen and limit exposure to elements that may cause this. Examples include: restricting excessive cold temperature exposure, Regular wormer and parasite preventative medication, routine vaccinations, etc. Any non life threatening issues found after the puppy leaves our care is the responsibility of the buyer to rectify unless seller agrees to offer treatment with our vet.
We are not liable for conditions that are brought on by stress or changes in their environment that are out of our control. This includes but is not limited to: Hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, parasites, giardia, viral or bacterial infections found after final examination with our vet.
Spay/Neuter Policy
While raising puppies can be a very rewarding decision, unethical breeding is potentially detrimental to an animal as well as breed standards. Therefore, we do not allow for our puppies to be adopted for the purpose of breeding.
Our pricing is based on pet only homes with no breeding rights. This allows for families that are not looking to breed to find an affordable, quality pet.
The purchaser has one year exactly from the date of purchase to have the puppy spayed or neutered. Purchaser must provide written proof of procedure by required date.
Adult Weight, Color & Conformation
We do not guarantee adult weight. This is simply an educated guess that is dependent upon diet, exercise, and spaying/neutering.
There is no guarantee of adult color or conformation. While we attempt to adhere as closely to breed standards as possible, each puppy is unique. Designer breed puppies may have characteristics of either parent and no promise can be made on which they favor.
Return Policy
Please be certain that you are prepared for the care, attention, and patience that a new puppy requires! We offer Lifetime Commitment and support for our clients/puppies. We will take any of our puppies back at any time during their lifetime. In the event that you wish to return a puppy, due to personality conflicts/inability to provide said care etc. there will be no refund provided. Return of a puppy to our care forfeits buyers ownership of said puppy.
With this commitment new owners should NEVER consider taking one of our dogs or puppies to an Animal Shelter, pound or Rescue. We understand that unexpected things in life can happen.
Misc
This guarantee is null and void if any of these conditions are violated or in the event that the puppy is no longer in the original buyer’s possession. Neglect or return of a puppy for any reason forfeits a buyer’s rights to ownership and said animal will be considered the property of the breeder once again.
Upon possession of the puppy, the buyer is responsible for all costs and expenses related to said puppy.
